Traditional Besan Modak made with roasted gram flour, ghee and sugar. A soft and delicious Ganpati special sweet perfect for festive celebrations.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Besan (Gram Flour)
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Nuts (optional)
Main Ingredients

Method
 

  1. Roast the besan in ghee on low flame until aromatic and golden.
  2. Let it cool slightly and add powdered sugar and cardamom powder.
  3. Mix well until smooth and shape into modaks using a mould.
  4. Let them set for 15–20 minutes before serving.
